I went to Orem High School for 11th and 12th grade. During that time I joined a band with Micah Tovey ("The Wingnuts"). I went to BYU for a year and a half and then served a mission in Seoul, Korea. I then continued at BYU and finished in Chemical Engineering. There is a rumor that if you graduate from the "Y" without getting married, your tuition is refunded. It is not true! (Or I missed the application deadline, which I have been known to do.) I started working at Fairchild Semiconductor in West Jordan and still work there as a process engineer.
A few years later, my sister set me up with Emily Sudweeks who was in her Illustration and Design program at BYU and we were married in 2001. Emily did illustration for a while, but eventually the kids caught up with us and she put that on hold. Lately she has been interested in doing writing.
We now have four children and live in "Historic Sandy".
