My brother John and I left Waterford in the 8th grade to go to Canyon View Jr. high and then on to graduate from Orem High. I ran track and cross country for Orem and also went to the University of Utah and ran for them. I still love to run, mostly for sanity's sake but I do love competing in marathons and other shorter races. In fact I run by Nancy Heuston's house all the time. I married Scott Thomas who was the older brother of my really good friend. He is also the brother John never had and after seeing them together, it is probably best that John was the only boy. John and I are real close as are our children; we do a lot together as families.
Scott and I have 6 kids; Taylor (girl, 15), Zach (boy, 13), Nathan (boy, 10), Kate (girl, 8), Joey (boy, 4), and Izzy (girl, 2). I am a "stay-at-home mom" which is an oxymoron considering my children see more of the back of the headrest in the car than they do of my actual face...
